Funding is a vital component of any research project. But getting funding is sometimes more difficult than actually doing the research.
A lot of universities place emphasis on high-quality research for the real world. Thus encouraging staff to maintain close research links with industry through various projects that benefit humanity or that have commercial value. It requires funding, support and supervision to produce research outputs that are excellent, world leading and of internationally recognised status.
Sometimes, the financial costs of cutting-edge research work can run into millions or billions. But such an amount of money is more often than not worth spending. Conducting a world class research can increase the rating of the researcher or the institutions.
Research support fund
At Nuguide, we make a reasonable research amount available for researchers at postgraduate level or those that are in early career research stage. However, if you are planning a sabbatical leave or an experienced researcher at a Nigerian university wanting to fund a major collaborative research project, we might fund such projects.
