Nigeria University Guide (Nuguide) works to make Nigeria Africa’s classroom in a global context. We are a team of academics and education enthusiasts. We are passionate about education and strive to make education accessible for all. Nuguide is an umbrella organization for several education conglomerates. Nuguide-vle is a subsidiary of Nuguide. While Nuguide focuses on tertiary education, Nuguide-vle develops digital learning resources for primary and secondary schools. The Nuguide-and-industry arm fosters a stronger tie between universities and industry in terms of collaborative research projects.
Our dos and don’ts are listed below.
What we do:
- we make Nigerian universities and their courses available worldwide to would-be students, researchers and parents on a centralized platform
- we offer advice to secondary school students and university applicants on different routes for study at Nigerian universities.
- we work to strengthen Nigerian universities
- we fund research and assist students in need at Nigerian universities, and promote economic development
- we promote excellence at Nigerian universities to meet international standards
- we promote ICT and educational technologies at Nigerian academic institutions
- we offer up-to-date information about National Universities Commission (NUC) approved Nigerian universities and courses
- we work in compliance with rules and regulations of the NUC, JAMB, WAEC, NECO and all recognized Nigerian universities
- we offer accurate and reliable information in the educational sector
- we promote collaborative research work and ideas sharing between Nigeria’s universities and world’s renowned institutes
What we don’t do:
- we do not offer university places to applicants, because we are not an admission body
- we do not promote foreign universities on our platform (do not contact us regarding advertising if you are a foreign university or an agent rooting for foreign universities)
- we do not list on our platform universities or degree courses that are not approved or accredited by the NUC (do not contact us for listing if your university and programmes are illegal)
- we do not list fees charged by universities for their courses
- we do not offer exam related materials as we are not an examination body
- we do not rank academic institutions. We treat all Nigerian universities equally and leave them to differentiate themselves through academic and research excellence.
- we do not advise or give information on immigration or visas
- we do not suggest universities or courses
